The General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC) is one of the world's oldest and largest nonpartisan, nondenominational women's volunteer service organizations. Founded in 1890, GFWC unites women who are dedicated to improving their communities through volunteer service, leadership, advocacy, and civic engagement.

Through local clubs, members identify needs in their communities and take action to create positive change. GFWC clubwomen support projects focused on education, health and wellness, civic engagement, the arts, environmental stewardship, and community improvement. Together, members contribute millions of volunteer hours each year while building friendships, developing leadership skills, and strengthening the communities they serve.
